Venture Heat Pain Relief and Heated Clothing Review

Venture Heat is the manufacturer of heated apparel and Far Infrared Ray Heat Therapy products.
Some of the items they make are heated gloves, heated vest, heated jackets and heated wraps for pain relief.

All are great ideas and used in the right conditions work ok some of the time. The main issue I have observed is the battery used to power the heated gloves, jackets and vest. They simply do not last that long, at least not as long as they claim they do. I’ve personally heard claims that the batteries last up to 6 hours while areas of their website claim up to 5 hours of battery. This is simply not true, you’ll be lucky to get a maximum of 2 hours of use at ANY power setting. Many of the batteries I have personally observed last only 30 minutes and in many cases didn’t work at all. This is true for their heated clothing like the heated jackets, heated gloves as well as their heated pain relief products.

Personally I think their heated glove liner is the best bang for your buck. It can be worn as an underlining to many different gloves for different purposes and because it acts as an insulating liner you can wear it with any style you wish. Whatever you do, DO NOT purchase their SG-20 gloves. They heat only the finger tips and are pretty much useless.

As for their heat therapy products it’s a great idea but a poorly implemented heat therapy wrap. If you wish to purchase any of the Far Infrared Ray products from Venture Heat, purchase only the SH-55 Heated Back Wrap for portability or the Universal Wrap if you only need pain relief at home and do not mind being plugged into the wall. However as mentioned before the batteries used in their products just do not perform as the advertise.

I suggest only the back wraps because while having a form fitted heat therapy device for pain management is a great idea the wraps are not designed in a way that the heat or FIR effectively penetrates the skin. The argument is with FIR you don’t even need the heat and this may be true but the fact of the matter is we need and want heat just to satisfy our minds. Basically if you mind is telling you that you aren’t being relived of pain, you’ll still feel pain and you’ve dropped $100 TO $140 for nothing.

Until they get the battery issues fixed I would wait before spending a dime on any of their products. They will tell you the battery issues have been fixed but I assure you, they have not. If you do purchase any of their products you have 30 days to get a refund and they are very good about that so I suggest you not be afraid to take advantage of that.
