Teen Mother Charged with Murdering Newborn
Seriously this makes me ill. What the hell is wrong with people that would cause them to do this? There really is no reason they should not know they have alternatives.
SANTA ANA – An 18-year-old mother was charged with murder Thursday for stabbing her newborn daughter and hiding the corpse in her closet, county prosecutors said.
Yoselin Torres Tovar, 18, of Fullerton is charged with felony murder and child abuse with a sentencing enhancement for inflicting great bodily injury, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s office.
She will be arraigned Friday. If convicted, she faces a maximum of 25 years in prison, prosecutors said.Authorities say Torres gave birth to the infant Saturday night in her family’s home. She is accused of stabbing the baby to death, and then putting the dead infant in her bedroom closet. No one in her family knew she was pregnant, prosecutors said.
Torres was bleeding, so her family members took her to St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton, prosecutors said. Doctors determined Torres just gave birth, and called police. They later found the dead baby in the closet.
She is the second young Fullerton mother in the past two weeks to be charged with killing her newborn baby.
Yanira Valderrama, 20, was arrested April 8 on suspicion drowning her newborn baby boy and hiding his body in a trash can in September. She faces the same charges as Tovar and will be arraigned April 30.
Parents who don’t want their newborn infants have alternatives.
California’s Safe Surrender law allows parents to drop off an unwanted newborn at any fire station or hospital within 72 hours of birth with no questions asked.

Adopt A Pet Makes a Relief Appearance
Anyone that knows me knows I love baseball and dogs, so what better video could I give you than the one shown here. The Northwest Arkansas Naturals minor league team has this thing where they showcase the Iams Adoptable Pet of the Game and in this case it was a 7 month old Beagle mix that just wanted to have some fun and make a mid-game “relief” appearance.

Pet Abuse Makes Me Sick
Just over a year ago I had to put my Labrador Retriever to sleep because she had cancer that ran through her nose and it was beginning to work it’s way to her brain. Emotionally, it was one of the hardest things I ever had to do in my life. After the vet administered the drug (I forget what it was) she let me sit there with her for as long as I needed. I sat there and balled my eyes out. I cried more over her passing than I did for my mother or father combined. I loved that dog more than most people I know and could never ever imagine causing her harm in any way. Especially through neglect or physical abuse.
Knowing the love I had for her, I knew at some point I’d get another dog but have not been ready to do so for a number of reasons until now. So it’s a matter of where will I find another pooch, which breed, color and so on. The decision has been made I’ll go for a rescue dog and the online search has begun! Awesome! Or so I thought.
What I have found that humans do to dogs makes me literally sick to my stomach. I thought I would be looking through web sites where dogs may be in a pound hoping to be rescued before being put to a premature death hopefully with a smile on my face that I may be able to save just one. Of course I expected to see mangy dogs found on the street also suffering from malnourishment, but what I found in addition is what bothered me so bad. What I found instead were beautiful helpless puppies up to senior dogs that were rescued from assholes that beat, tortured or neglected them to a point they were almost unrecognizable as the lovable creature they are. I ended up spending a night literally crying at was I was reading.
I came to the conclusion as drastic as this may sound, these people don’t deserve to live. Now, I’m not saying I am going to go out and kill anyone, but if I hear of someone who has harmed one of these dogs suffering a horrible death I will have a heartfelt chuckle over it. hope they burn in hell.
Yes I can hear it now “oh here is one of those PETA preaching MFers”. This is one of those bleeding hearts “that puts a dog before a human” No I am not a PETA lover, in fact I eat meat, own leather and I’d like to see a few of them burn as well. But when I read about an animal who wants nothing more than to be loved and play ball by those who own it makes me sick.
Even the dumb broad that took her perfectly healthy dog to the pound to be euthanize because her future husband said she couldn’t keep the dog at his place. Hasn’t that stupid bitch heard of pet adoption? There are plenty of foster homes out there! Could she not even consider giving the dog away? Stupidity like that is what deserves a lethal injection.
Anyway I have no real end to this rant other than saying if you abuse your pets you’re an asshole, you don’t deserve to live either.
If you cannot care for your pet please consider putting it up for adoption. You are no more of a man because you can beat up a pit bull by sticking cigarette butts into its forehead and it does nothing to you.
Here’s a few links that may help you find a loving home for your pet. If you are not anywhere near these places a simple online search like pet adoption then your city name after it will easily put you in touch with someone who can help you.
