Barack Obama 1 comment
Just a short simple question.
If Barack Obama is half black and half white why do we not ever hear about the white side? Why is there so much emphasis placed on his ethnicity at all? After all Barack Obama is also white.
Just ask’n
Ok I’ve come back to add to this. As a (half) white man shouldn’t he be offended by Rev. Wright’s comments about white people? As an American Christian shouldn’t he be offended my Rev. Wright’s comment ” America deserved to be attacked on September 11, 2001″?
Race aside, as an American I know I’m offended by the 9/11 comment from the so called “holy man”.

I am not offended in the least. Most other countries know that this stuff goes on all over the world. We are there for one reason only. Oil. We made our bed. No one else is so invasive as the U.S. and listening to British and Canadian media(the only place to get the truth), I understand every comment that Wright made to his FAMILY. America is built on deceit. I descibe the “United States as we stand” as follows.
“The maximum survival probability would belong to those who are surrounded by reciprocally altruistic others but who themselves would not help in an emergency. (And we are not “helping”).”
“These “cheaters” threaten others, whose risk by helping is not compensated by the benefits of being helped, and so mechanisms to control them are brought into play: scorn for free riders and honor to heroes. Human emotions are positive toward those who cooporate on group endeavors and negative (punitive) toward those who act as free riders, benefitting from group efforts without contributing to it. We are prepared by evolution to be on alert for signs that people are not trustworthy by being skeptical about their motivations.”

In other words, we chose to go there for a reason. It had nothing to do with the “bad guys” because they nest among us. There is a reason why the terrorists chose us to attack. Why is that? We keep our noses where they do not belong and we chose the wrong people to try and change. We have made matters worse than ever for all of the Middle East since. Anyone who did not join us in our quest was shunned. We are not calling the French haters or racists for not partaking. We can love our country but hate what they are doing without being a “racist”. This is an immoral war. Any person, regardless of color, should be appalled. To think that these troops come back, no support good enough for what they have been through, killing their wives and themselves. McCain is not ok with more psychiatric help for them. Obama has that plan along with a coalition of
Veterans that know what is up. As an ex military wife, I understand what it does to a man to be there. This is not right. We always seem to make matters worse, and we cannot afford to be there. Our future alraedy consists of biking to work and fighting for rice. We are a more hated, less respected country now, than before 9/11. What does that tell you? I know people of all ethnicities who stand by Wright’s comments fully. I am not saying that those people deserved to die. I am saying that we have been running over people from day one, and quite cocky about it. Obviously, someone noticed. We are bigotted and cocky and we bullied others into this, I am ashamed to say. I guess the Canadians and others are right after all.
