WTF?

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is trying to push through a new tax that will fund a global warming research committee to determine the effects “global warming” is having on the state of California. First off I do believe our climate is changing, that obvious. However I do NOT believe it is do to unnatural occurrences brought on by humans. The thing that really pisses me off is I have NO CHOICE whether I want to contribute to this. Something I am adamantly against I have to help fund.

The Governator promised Californians he was going to pull us out of all the debt and get us back in the black. Since the all he’s done is build a paycheck base for his buddies that need a job or an additional income. That’s what this is too, we don’t need it.

The earth has had natural global cooling and global warming cycles before. In case anyone forgets the earth was once covered in ice. There were no artificial pollutants that caused that. The as we well know the ice melted. Imagine that!! How did that happen? Who the hell do we blame for that? The cavemen and their damn fires? Damn them for wanting to live.

After the ice age, there were a number of periods where the temperature was higher than those we see today. The warmest was probably the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum (PETM), which hit it’s highest temperature about 55 million years ago. Global temperatures during this event may have warmed by 41°F to 46.4°f within a few thousand years, with the Arctic Ocean reaching a subtropical 73°F.

Next we have to also realize that earth is not the only planet that is experiencing or has experienced climate change. According to National Geographic Mars is experiencing global warming that due to solar activity from the sun, not humans. Obviously.

Simultaneous warming on Earth and Mars suggests that our planet’s recent climate changes have a natural—and not a human-induced—cause, according to one scientist’s controversial theory.

Could Pluto be warming also? It is according to Space.com they say Pluto is undergoing global warming. They suspect the average surface temperature increased about 3.5 degrees Fahrenheit, or slightly less than 2 degrees Celsius. That’s far more than I so called rise in global temperature. NewScientist.com backs up the observation that Mars is warming as well as Pluto is warming too. Both cases scientist credit the rise in temperatures as a “seasonal change just as it is on earth”.

This last year global warming fanatics and meteorologist were warning Southern Californians of an unusually warm and very dry winter. In fact we had record breaking lows and a lot of rain. Enough rain that gave nit just Southern California a record snow pack but record breaking snow pack in the Sierras also.

We had global cooling from 1940 to 1980 and in the 1970s there was a plea that the earth may plunder into another ice age if aerosol use quadrupled. So many things point to a natural cycle of cooling and warming, why do we need another new tax tacked on to increase fuel cost, income tax, state tax and other taxes they call “fees”?

Jupiter be warming too? According to Space.com it’s possible. The horror! The latest images could provide evidence that Jupiter is in the midst of a global change that can modify temperatures by as much as 10 degrees Fahrenheit on different parts of the globe. I’m not jumping on this band wagon yet, but I could. The Associated Press has reported that satellites that measure the temperature of sunlight have been recording an increase in the sun’s temperature, meaning that the sun itself is warming up. Even the London Telegraph reported in 2004 that global warming was due to the sun being hotter than it has ever been in the past 1,000 years. They cited this information from research conducted by German and Swiss scientists who claim that it is increasing radiation from the sun that is resulting in our current climate change.

News flash!!! The reason for Global warming is the sun is getting hotter!!! Do we need a research group paid by our tax dollars to tell us this? No!! In all honesty I’m sure they wouldn’t tell us that. What they will tell us is we all need to drive a Prius and create a solar footprint to survive.

Oh yeah and I found evidence of Neptune’s moon undergoing a warning trend too, but you get my point.
